Visible corrections
Correct the record without rewriting it.
Augur treats a changed judgment and corrected evidence as additions to history. Readers can see what changed, when it changed, and which record now carries authority.
Outcome overturns append
If a confirmed result must change, the overturn is a new dated event on the same stable call page. The original grade remains visible before it.
Evidence corrections pair
An erroneous claim remains visible as Superseded beside its replacement, marked Correction — citation authority. The pair makes the change explicit.
Authority moves; history stays
The correction becomes the sole citation authority for the pair. The superseded text remains for accountability, but its article is removed from link-bearing and model-facing source projections so a known-bad source cannot regain authority through the old record.
Ordinary version updates are not mislabeled as corrections. The correction relationship is structural and explicit, not inferred from wording, source, author, or detector.
