Augur Dispatch

Permanent graded record

No graded call is ever deleted.

Once Augur records a grade for a public forecast, that call and its outcome stay in the public history. A miss cannot be removed to improve the scoreboard.

What stays

The original call terms, grade events, operator confirmation, later overturns, and their dates remain part of the call's stable page. The current scoreboard is derived from that ledger; it is not a hand-edited list of favorable examples.

The boundary is graded calls

This promise is deliberately precise. It does not claim that every internal draft or abandoned, never-graded candidate is a permanent public record. It applies once a public forecast has entered the graded history.

Deletion is not correction

If a result or its evidence is wrong, Augur adds an overturn or correction. The earlier record remains visible with its changed authority clearly marked; it is not erased and quietly replaced.
